(Translated in Libya Alhurra Chatroom at http://www.livestream.com/libya17feb )
S. Al-Sadiq Othman Al-Oraybe is the Freedom Fighter from Benghazi who says he captured Gaddafi & took the ring off Gaddafi's finger.
"I was born in 1989 from Al-Majoory district.
I am from the first army battalion from Benghazi. I lost my team, but found Misrata Freedom Fighters, so I was joined with four Freedom Fighters from Misrata at the time that I found Gaddafi.
I got Gaddafi's wedding ring. Inside Gaddafi's wedding ring is written his wife's name and the wedding date: Safyia Farkash 10-9-1970
There were a few Freedom Fighters tackling Gaddafi thugs at the location.
I was patrolling with four Freedom Fighters from Misrata when I saw Gaddafi trying to hide by walking with women and kids and wearing a hat. I recognized Gaddafi from the look of his hair.
I grabbed Gaddafi and slapped him in the face and knocked him to the ground. Gaddafi told me, "I am as old as your father!", so the I gave him a second slap in the face.
One Freedom Fighter from Misrata grabbed Gaddafi's gold pistol.
Then I said that I would be taking Gaddafi with me, but I was overwhelmed by Misrata Freedom Fighters. They told me that they were going to be taking Gaddafi with them to Misrata and that if I followed them they would kill me too, so I stripped Gaddafi of his shirt and his wedding ring.
The Misrata Freedom Fighters asked me, "Where is the rest of your team?"
I told them that they were not around there, so they took Gaddafi from me and were taking him to Misrata.
Then one of the Misrata Freedom Fighters shot two bullets - one in the left side of Gaddafi's chest and another in the left side of Gaddafi's head.
So when the Misrata Freedom Fighters put Gaddafi in the ambulance, I jumped in with them.
When i was in the ambulance, they didn't like it, so they threatened me.
They took my gun AK47 and my black Belgian pistol.
(Translator's interpretation: They wanted to strip him of his weapons because he was with them in the ambulance. They didn't want him to pull a fast one on them....)
I was told by the Misrata Freedom Fighters that I would never make it to Misrata alive.
When I saw my friend driving behind me, I jumped off the ambulance. We started heading toward Benghazi, 400 km away, with my own trophies - the wedding ring from Gaddafi and his blood-stained shirt.
Gaddafi was hit by four bullets. One scraped his upper left side (of his face) above the eye brow.
It took over half an hour for Gaddafi to die.
I was holding him on the ground and stepping on his face. Gaddafi was telling me, "This is a sin upon you!"
Gaddafi was walking with a family; he was wearing a hat, and a green shirt and pants, and black army boots. .
He did have two pistols with him. He had no bag with him.
He had a few witchcraft letters in his pocket.
He was not in the sewer. I caught him walking and grabbed him by his hair, to the ground.
Gaddafi was a short guy as tall as me. He had no hair in his chest.
Misrata Freedom Fighters were angry at me, so they pulled their guns' safety pins to threaten me to give up taking Gaddafi with me.
They took my AK47 from me, and my black Belgian pistol.
I was over powered by the Misrata Freedom Fighters and they took the trophy from me.
So I took Gaddafi's shirt and wedding ring and got away before any harm came to himself from the Misrata Freedom Fighters."
Questioner: Do you know the names of the Freedom Fighters that were with you?"
"No, I know their faces. There was another bald-headed Freedom Fighter from Benghazi there with me, but I do not know his name either. "
( Clarification from second translator: That was his gun, not Gaddafi's gun. He said G only had the gold gun. He also said another fighter from Benghazi was shooting with him. He does not know his name, but said he was bald.)
(Also note: In Global post video, Gaddafi looks like he is wearing a tan shirt and pants)
